Trauma-fueled Hatred: Bareilly Serial-Killer
Kuldeep’s violent past, deeply rooted in childhood trauma, unfolded as his father’s abuse towards his mother and subsequent remarriage scarred his psyche. This toxic environment influenced his later behavior, leading to domestic violence in his own marriage, which ultimately drove his wife away.
During police interrogation, Kuldeep confessed that his hatred for women grew, resulting in a series of murders where he targeted lone women in sugarcane fields. He revealed that if spotted, he would delay his attack but eventually return to kill the victim, regardless of any personal connection.
Kuldeep, who is accused of murdering 10 women over 14 months. The victims, aged between 45 to 55 years, were found strangled with their own sarees in Bareilly’s Nawabganj area. The police identified Kuldeep through a sketch released based on eyewitness descriptions.
Abuse and misogyny in childhood can foster resentment and unhealthy behaviors that manifest in violent actions and a distorted view of relationships.
