Pune Remains Enslaved By Rich Brats : Essay Loading ?

From Porsche to BMW – Pune was once known for its culture. Today it is known for rich brats running people over and shamelessly mocking us. This is nothing but utter failure of the government and police. It is also a failure of what we call “development”.

A man stepped out of a BMW in Pune and urinated at the traffic stop in Pune, a viral video showed. With the gates of BMW left open in the middle of the road, the man, identified as Gaurav Ahuja, was seen urinating at the traffic stop, in a video shot by a bystander.

The Pune police have detained Gaurav Ahuja in Maharashtra’s Satara district. He is being taken to Yerawada police station for further legal proceedings. After completing the formalities of his arrest, he will be presented before the holiday court.

Earlier, Ahuja released a video apologising for the incident, saying he would surrender within eight hours.

Meanwhile, Bhagyesh Oswal, who was in the front seat of the luxury car at the time, has also been detained. Police suspect that both he and Ahuja were intoxicated, and Oswal has been sent for medical tests, according to the Press Trust of India.

A video of the incident, which quickly spread on social media, shows one man sitting in the front seat while another urinates at a traffic signal. Moments later, one of them smirks at the person filming.

“We saw a young man urinating in public at Shastrinagar Chowk in Yerawada. After the video circulated widely, we launched an inquiry,” said Himmat Jadhao, the deputy commissioner of police.

A case has been filed under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Motor Vehicles Act on charges including public nuisance, reckless driving, and endangering public safety.

Gaurav Ahuja has previous cases against him, including running illegal gambling and betting.
