Zou, who came from a wealthy background, used his intelligence not for progress but predation. He secretly filmed his unconscious victims, keeping their belongings as trophies. Hidden cameras, date-rape drugs, and disturbing video evidence uncovered in his apartment paint a horrifying picture of a man who manipulated trust and power to commit crimes across the UK and China.
His conviction exposes an uncomfortable truth—education, status, and wealth do not make a man “good.” Misogyny and entitlement run deeper than degrees. Women’s safety cannot be assumed based on a man’s resume.
Authorities are now urging any potential survivors to come forward. Zou faces sentencing on June 19.
