Meerut : Merchant Navy man Saurabh Rastogi went missing on 4th March. He was visiting from London to attend his 6 year old daughter’s birthday.
His wife Muskan & her lover Sahil (some reports say he was Saurabh’s friend) went on a holiday right after Saurabh’s disappearance. After coming back they tried to move a very heavy drum but were caught before they could dispose it off.
Police say on the 4th Muskan drugged Saurabh. Then she and Sahil murdered him, cut up his body and put in a drum with cement. Muskan and Saurabh had married in 2016. Reports suggest Muskan & Sahil were in touch since 2019 and Saurabh may have been aware of the affair.
Crimes of passion are one of the highest causes of homicides. This despicable crime shows the intoxication of affairs can have catastrophic consequences for entire families.
