A 70-year-old woman from Etah, Uttar Pradesh, displayed remarkable courage and presence of mind when she stopped a train from passing over a broken railway track, averting a potential disaster.
While walking near the tracks, Omwati noticed a dangerous break in the rail. Acting swiftly, she removed her red saree and hung it across the track as a warning signal to an approaching train. The driver spotted her signal just in time and halted the train, preventing what could have been a catastrophic accident.
