Woman hacks husband’s WhatsApp, finds proof of him exploiting women, leading to his arrest. Shocking chats and videos unravel his crimes.
In Nagpur, a 24-year-old woman hacked her 33-year-old husband Abdul Sharique Quereshi’s WhatsApp, uncovering his dark secret: exploiting women. The paan kiosk owner lured victims with fake marriage promises, recorded them in compromising acts, and extorted cash and favors. Evidence included chats, photos, and videos.
Married since 2021 with a young daughter, their marriage was troubled. She’d filed a harassment case earlier at Pachpaoli station over his perverse demands, but he slipped arrest. This time, cloning his phone exposed his crimes.
One victim, a 19-year-old, was conned by Quereshi under the alias “Sahil Sharma,” hiding his real identity. He coerced her to sell a Rs 30,000 ring and took the money. With the wife’s help, the teen reported rape. Police arrested Quereshi, charging him with rape, blackmail, extortion, and fraud under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. He’s in custody, facing extended remand.
