A woman was molested by an unidentified man on a deserted street in Bengaluru on April 3 while she was walking with a friend. The shocking incident, caught on CCTV, shows the man assaulting the woman before fleeing as she resists.
Earlier, police officials stated that they were awaiting a formal complaint from the victim, but have since registered a suo motu case. DCP Sarah Fathima confirmed that an investigation is underway.
