Apoorva Mukhija Exposes Threats After India’s Got Latent Backlash

Apoorva Mukhija shares screenshots of rape and death threats on Instagram, spotlighting the fallout from her India’s Got Latent appearance in February 2025.

Apoorva Mukhija, known as The Rebel Kid, broke her two-month Instagram silence on April 8, 2025, after the India’s Got Latent controversy. The YouTube show, hosted by Samay Raina and featuring Ranveer Allahbadia, stirred outrage in February over offensive remarks. Mukhija, a social media influencer with over 3 million followers, faced intense backlash, including FIRs filed against her and others in Guwahati for promoting obscenity.

Her return came with a stark revelation: screenshots of rape, acid attack, and death threats she received. Captioned “and that’s not even 1%,” the post exposed the scale of online abuse she endured. A follow-up post, “Don’t take away the story from the storyteller,” showed her resolve amid the trolling. The controversy had earlier led her to wipe her Instagram clean, marking a retreat from the public eye.

Despite the legal and social media storm, Mukhija has regained some fan support with her comeback. Known for her role in the 2025 series Baat Pakki, her latest move has shifted focus back to the threats, reigniting debates around the show’s fallout and her ordeal.
