In a tragic incident in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, a teenage girl lost her life after re-entering a burning room to retrieve her hijab.
The fire broke out following a gas cylinder explosion near Miyan Masjid, claiming two lives, including an infant, and injuring 14 others. The girl, identified as 19-year-old Sadiya, was initially rescued from the blaze. However, she rushed back into the flaming structure to get her hijab, a headscarf prescribed in her religion. During this attempt, a burning door collapsed on her, causing fatal injuries. Despite efforts to save her, Sadiya succumbed to her wounds.
