In Aligarh, UP, a woman was inappropriately touched by some men from a passing by procession. Unlike most, the woman decided to call out the molesters and complained to the police present there. To absolutely nobody’s surprise, the police quickly started scolding the woman. There didn’t have to be a mob against her, many women have faced the same experience when they complain and police gaslight the victim instead.

2 You are crazy to touch a police officer. When the girl says I am only explaining to you how he touched me. The officer says it is inappropriate. – Police officer deployed this classic gaslighting technique. First, he blames her for touching a police officer and then says it’s no way to explain in front of the public.
3 Bigger mob wins – Police capitulation to mob rule is also a rule in India
This was in broad daylight & in police presence. With such policing, what are women supposed to do???
