On April 4, 2025, a 22-year-old girl was kidnapped from Nawalgarh culvert in Rajasthan’s Sikar district. Drugged and unconscious, she was being driven toward Delhi in a Scorpio by three abductors. At a tea stop in Manesar, she awoke and screamed for help. Nemichand Muwal, a Rajasthan Roadways bus conductor, acted swiftly. He stopped his bus, confronted the kidnappers, and pulled the girl from their vehicle to safety. The abductors fled as a crowd gathered. Muwal ensured her protection and later reunited her with her family.

It also raised concerns about passenger safety and kidnapping risks in the region. Police are investigating, but no arrests have been reported.
