In a horrific incident in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh, a 45-year-old tribal woman died after being brutally gang-raped on May 23, 2025. The assault occurred in the Roshni police outpost area under Khalwa police station. The accused, Hari (35) and Sunil (26), belonging to the same tribe as the victim allegedly inflicted severe internal injuries, causing the victim’s intestines to protrude, leading to her death from excessive bleeding. Police arrested both suspects, charging them under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita sections for gangrape and murder. The postmortem revealed extreme brutality, prompting widespread outrage and protests.
