In a disturbing road rage incident in central Bengaluru, a BMTC bus driver has been suspended for attempting to run over a woman following a collision. Deekshitha Reddy Y, a 30-year-old medical student, confronted the driver after her SUV was hit from behind by the bus.
As she stood in front of the vehicle demanding an apology, the driver, identified as Puneeth, drove the bus forward, prompting her to move aside to avoid being hit.
BMTC has suspended the driver, and police have registered a case under relevant sections for rash driving. The bus involved has been seized pending further investigation.
