Enjoyment turns to nightmare!
France’s annual Fête de la Musique took a disturbing turn this year, as 145 people, most of them women, across the country reported being pricked with syringes during the weekend celebrations. Authorities say the victims experienced symptoms of discomfort shortly after being stabbed.
The reports include minors – a 15-Yo girl and an 18-Yo boy from different regions, prompting prosecutors to reopen investigations. Police have taken 12 individuals into custody in connection with the attacks.
France’s interior ministry has not confirmed whether the needles were laced with drugs such as Rohypnol or GHB, substances often linked to chemical spiking and sexual assault.
However, the unexplained nature of these attacks has raised public concern across the country. The investigation remains ongoing.
