Shocking CCTV footage from East Delhi’s Shakarpur has triggered outrage after it captured a brutal chain-snatching incident that left a woman unconscious. The chilling footage highlights how the assault went far beyond theft, putting the victim’s life in serious danger.
Around 10 PM in the D Block area, the attacker can be seen following the victim before grabbing her in a tight chokehold from behind and forcibly dragging her behind a parked vehicle, away from public view. The violent assault caused the woman to collapse unconscious. The robber removed her gold chain and earrings before taking off on a bike with an accomplice, leaving her lying on the ground.
Police have confirmed they are pursuing legal action while they try to identify and arrest the accused persons involved in the crime.
