Fake claims help nobody, especially Feminism!
A viral video from a podcast featuring a woman claiming that in parts of Rajasthan, newlywed brides must first sleep with their father-in-law and brother-in-law before their husband, and that the first child must be aborted, has caused widespread outrage. The National Crime Investigation Bureau (NCIB) labeled the claims as false and misleading, urging Rajasthan Police to take action against the woman for spreading hate and misinformation. Social media users condemned the video, with NCIB emphasizing the need to avoid such rumors to prevent societal harm.
The woman has subsequently said she had seen one such case and she did not mean to generalise.
