A female web designer from Hebbal was molested twice by Manjunath, an engineer from Hennur . The attack occurred while she was helping an injured stray dog near Jakkur Double Road.
While heading towards Bharatiya City with a friend, the woman stopped to help the wounded dog, carrying it to the pavement for safety. Manjunath, returning from a party on his scooter, approached and molested her before escaping. Undeterred, she secured the dog and washed her hands at a nearby fuel station. Shockingly, he returned and molested her again. She raised an alarm, and her friend, aided by a passing motorist, chased him nearly a kilometer until his scooter crashed, causing him to fall. He revealed his name and phone number during the confrontation.
Though police from helpline 112 responded, he fled again. Amruthahally police later traced him to his rented flat near Bagalur.
