He was arrested for harassing girls with lewd remarks near in Gomtinagar Extension,Lucknow. The operation reflects intensified efforts to curb such offenses. The incident occurred on September 23.
Police charged Verma under Section 296(B) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for outraging women’s modesty. He was presented to the court and remanded to judicial custody.
