In a shocking incident captured on CCTV in Indore, Rajendra Chaurasia ran over his ex-girlfriend with a speeding Activa scooter after she refused his pleas to reconcile.
The event unfolded when Chaurasia intercepted the woman on the street, leading to a heated argument. Despite her clear rejection, he briefly left the scene only to return at high speed, deliberately striking her as she attempted to defend herself by picking up a stone.
The victim was flung in the air and hit by the side wall, sustaining serious injuries from the impact. She was assisted by passersby and taken for medical treatment.
Chaurasia, who has a history of seven prior criminal cases, fled immediately after the assault. Authorities at Heeranagar police station have launched a manhunt for Chaurasia, booking him on charges of molestation and attempted murder based on the victim’s complaint and the incriminating CCTV footage.
