Uttam Nagar, Delhi: Divya was returning home from tuition with her mother when a miscreant pushed her mother to the ground and snatched the gold chain from her neck. Divya chased after the thief without a hint of fear.
Divya has been training in Karate for the past five years. She pursued the thief for nearly half a kilometer before pinning him down. She not only tackled the thief to the ground but also managed to recover her mother’s chain. Seeing her bravery, bystanders rushed to the spot and held the thief until the police arrived.
The Delhi Police praised Divya for her courage and have registered a formal case against the accused.
