On February 7 in Samastipur, Bihar, 23-year-old Nitish Kumar, a Bihar Police exam aspirant, was allegedly abducted while heading to a library. Local youths reportedly assaulted him, drugged him into a disoriented state, and forcibly married him to a woman named Lakshmi Kumari at a temple in Morwa block. A viral video shows him barely able to stand or speak coherently during the rituals, appearing heavily intoxicated and pleading for help. His family filed a kidnapping complaint, leading to his rescue by police, who are now investigating the incident amid conflicting claims. No arrests have been reported yet.
