A video shared by a solo female traveler, @roam.with.rasha, shows her being inappropriately touched by a scuba diving instructor during a dive in Hurghada, Egypt.
The footage, recorded underwater, shows the instructor touching different parts of the woman’s body in a manner that appears unrelated to safety or standard diving guidance. During the dive, the woman can be seen pushing the instructor’s hand away and repositioning it so he would stop.
Professional scuba diving instruction is expected to be respectful, structured, and strictly focused on safety and training. Instructors are responsible for guiding divers through procedures, monitoring equipment, and ensuring a secure diving environment — not making unnecessary physical contact.
