This disturbing incident was reported in the women’s coach of the Delhi Metro from Hauz Khas station, where four young girls created chaos throughout the journey. According to eyewitness accounts @shrutea_sharma, they were continuously shouting, abusing, and passing cheap remarks at other women, making the environment extremely uncomfortable.
Their behavior forced several women to vacate their seats, even causing inconvenience to a differently-abled passenger. The girls were said to be repeatedly targeting women in the coach, turning a space meant for safety into one of distress and fear. SHO of Janakpuri Metro is verifying the matter, and appropriate legal action will be taken accordingly, he added.
Police are also working to identify the women involved and ascertain the date of the incident. Further action will be initiated based on the findings of the inquiry.
