A woman biker @rebelwheels_sia_ was injured in a hit-and-run incident on Gurugram’s Golf Course Road. Captured on her motorcycle’s action camera, the viral video shows a white car (a Maruti Ciaz) following and harassing her while she rode with a group of bikers. The vehicle then struck her sports bike from the side, causing her to fall onto the road with injuries and damaging the motorcycle. Another rider attempted to stop the car, but the driver fled the scene without stopping.
The accused has been identified as Kalyan Bainsla, a gym owner from Paliwal. Bainsla has admitted a collision occurred but denied it was deliberate, claiming it happened after bikers overtook him, that he lost control near a U-turn, and that he fled fearing a mob attack from the group of riders.
Gurugram Police’s Social Media Monitoring Cell spotted the video and registered an FIR suo motu under relevant sections for rash/negligent driving and related offences. The FIR initially named the accused as unknown, though Bainsla has been identified through vehicle details. Special teams have been formed and raids conducted, with a manhunt underway, but as of the latest reports, no arrest has been made.
