Drinking and driving is not accident. It’s murder.
As the number of cars on Indian roads have gone up, so have cases of drunk/rash driving. 14 year old Aasma had to pay the ultimate price when Sanskriti hit the scootie her father was riding. Her father & cousin are seriously injured. Sanskriti is seen begging forgiveness but then unable to walk later when police detain her.
The menace of drinking and driving needs serious action. Policing – yes! But when are we going to take responsibility and talk about civic sense too? It’s time.
