In a heartwarming gesture from Uttar Pradesh’s Gonda district, local police officials stepped in to help a woman whose brother was recently killed during a dacoity at their home. The incident, which left the family devastated and financially strained, also led to the cancellation of her wedding.
Gonda SP shared that four of the six accused have been arrested, while two were killed in police and STF encounters. On learning about the cancelled wedding, officers decided to help. They not only offered financial assistance but also helped organise the ceremony, ensuring the woman’s future wasn’t derailed by the tragedy.
