An Indian student, Gureet Jeetesh, who arrived in the UK just 12 weeks ago on a student visa, has been arrested in Coventry for allegedly grooming multiple underage girls online through social media.
Reports say he engaged in inappropriate conversations and even arranged to meet minors — leading to a confrontation by a vigilante group, police intervention, and his immediate eviction from student accommodation.
A viral video shows him pleading for “just a warning” as officers arrive.
UK authorities are yet to issue an official statement, and the investigation is ongoing.
