The head of security at a luxury Phuket hotel has been charged with attempted night time burglary after he tried to enter a female DJ’s room using a master keycard on the night of January 16.
The incident was caught on CCTV, which the suspect had tried to delete but was later recovered by the hotel. The DJ, Ms. Mirinda Nalinratanawadee, reported the suspicious attempt after locking her door and feeling unsafe.
Police have filed charges, and the security chief’s employment has been terminated.
