A female teacher was brutally attacked in broad daylight in Mainpuri after rejecting repeated romantic advances from a Class 12 student. The accused allegedly harassed her for weeks, and when she objected again, he confronted her on the road, assaulted her, and bit off parts of her lips, causing severe bleeding and facial injuries. CCTV footage capturing the horrifying incident has gone viral.
The victim was rushed to hospital and later referred to a facility in Agra for treatment. Police have registered an FIR, launched a manhunt for the fleeing student, and described him as a serial offender.
