A shocking attempted abduction of schoolgirl has sparked fresh outrage over women’s safety. CCTV footage from Hapur shows three young students walking home from school when a man approaches and tries to drag one of them away. The brave girl immediately raised an alarm by screaming, causing the accused to flee the scene in panic.
The police investigations appear to be in the early stages where a juvenile has been detained but no official statement made yet.
However, the chilling video clearly captures how she was being forcibly dragged away before her cries startled him into fleeing. The girl showed good presence of mind in foiling the effort.
