A Nepali family in the United States was playing music at around 4 a.m. when police arrived following complaints from neighbors. Officers responded after being informed that the music was still playing in the early hours of the morning.
The man told police that they were celebrating a festival. While speaking to officers outside his home, he slapped his wife during the conversation.
Police immediately detained the man for domestic violence. He reportedly told officers that he did not slap her but “lightly hit” her. His wife defended him during the incident. She was also taken into custody, likely for interfering with the arrest.
