Rushabh Patel, 28 tragically d*ed after heroically saving two people from drowning during a family picnic in Milton Keynes, England. While at Newport Pagnell Beach along the River Great Ouse, two individuals from the group got into difficulty in the water. Without hesitation, Patel jumped in and successfully rescued both of them.
He suffered a cardiac arrest during the rescue and drowned. Emergency services responded, and he was airlifted to Milton Keynes University Hospital, where he passed away. Other casualties were also rescued from the water.
Patel is survived by his wife Mili and their 18-month daughter. His family described his final act as one of extraordinary courage and sacrifice. Even in death, his selflessness continued as his organs were donated, giving five to six people a new chance at life.
