A disturbing case of domestic violence has surfaced from Meerut, where a man named Saqib mu*dered his wife, Kausar (27)!inside their home in the Lisadi Gate area.
According to police, Kausar was found with her throat slit while their three minor daughters were present nearby. The incident came to light when one of the children approached the landlord for help, after which her body was discovered.
Initially, Saqib tried to mislead authorities by claiming that unknown intruders had killed his wife during a robbery and even attempted to create a fake crime scene. However, police grew suspicious due to inconsistencies and no signs of forced entry.
During interrogation, he confessed to the murder. The crime was reportedly triggered by ongoing domestic disputes after Kausar discovered his extra-marital affair. In a fit of rage, he used a paper cutter to k*ll her.
Saqib, an e-rickshaw driver, has been arrested, and further investigation is underway.
