In Danapur, Patna, a 16-year-old girl was injured on Sunday evening. She was travelling on a Rapido bike when two young men opened fire. Police have now confirmed that one of the accused was the girl’s ex-boyfriend and that they had a falling out. The bike rider was also injured, after which the girl ran into a nearby tailor shop for safety.
The two men chased her inside the shop. There was a scuffle, and the girl was sh*t in the shoulder before the accused fled the spot. The girl used the shopkeeper’s phone to call her family, who took her to a private hospital for treatment. The Rapido rider was also injured and hospitalised.
Police reached the location and examined CCTV footage to identify the accused. Police are investigating the reason behind the incident and conducting raids to arrest those involved. (TOI)
