Katrina Kaif has responded to comments about her appearance following pregnancy, questioning why women are expected to quickly return to their pre-pregnancy bodies. After her pictures from the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in September attracted comments about her appearance, Katrina addressed the criticism in an interview with Vogue India.
Responding to the phrase ‘bounce back’, she said, “Bounce back? From where?” She added that becoming a mother was something she deeply desired and that she would return to her fitness goals at her own pace. Katrina also said people are aware of what a woman’s body goes through after childbirth, and choosing to judge it harshly is a personal choice. She said she wants to focus on this lovely phase of her life rather than other people’s expectations.
