A woman’s journey from Jamshedpur to Hazaribagh turned into a nightmare after a minor scrape with a Mahindra Scorpio escalated into a violent road rage incident. Following the accident, Scorpio Driver became extremely aggressive and began chasing the woman’s car for several kilometres while her family was inside the vehicle.
Man intercepted the car, attempted to force open its doors, and smashed the driver’s side window with a stone, injuring the woman and family inside. To escape, the woman reversed the car and even drove in the wrong direction, but he continued the pursuit. The family also contacted the police emergency helpline during the chase.
The ordeal ended only after local residents gathered at the spot, prompting the attacker to flee. The incident has raised concerns over the safety of women travellers and road rage in Jharkhand. Police action and further investigation into the matter are awaited.
