A father is supposed to be a child’s protector, someone who makes them feel safe.
But in Vikas nagar, Delhi a man has been accused of SAing his own 12-year-old daughter. The case reportedly came to light during Navratri when the girl visited a neighbour’s home and confided in a woman about the abuse.
According to reports, the girl’s mother lives in another state, leaving the child with her father. After learning about the allegations, neighbours intervened and handed the accused over to the police. Police registered a case and took the father into custody. The girl was sent for a medical examination and is being provided protection as the investigation continues.
