A woman in Vadodara, Gujarat, has accused her husband, his father, and her sister-in-law’s husband of sexual abuse in a shocking case.
The victim married in February 2024, but her husband was soon found to have a very low sperm count, making natural conception unlikely. After a failed attempt at in vitro fertilization (IVF), she suggested adoption, but her in-laws rejected the idea.
The woman alleges that in July 2024, while sleeping, she was raped by her father-in-law. When she threatened to report the abuse, her husband reportedly threatened to circulate her private photos online. The abuse continued over several months, and in December 2024, her sister-in-law’s husband also began to rape her.
Despite eventually becoming pregnant in June 2025, she suffered a miscarriage the following month. Unable to bear the continued abuse and blackmail, the woman reported her ordeal to police. Authorities have confirmed that an FIR has been registered and an investigation is underway.
