A 20-year-old junior engineering student at a private Bengaluru college allegedly raped his 21-year-old senior on campus. Accused, named Jeevan Gowda , assaulted the girl in men’s washroom . Afterward, calling her, asking if she “needed a pill,” as per the FIR.
The survivor escaped and confided in friends, later filed a complaint at Hanumanthanagar Police Station . Police arrested Jeevan and remanded him to judicial custody. They registered the case under IPC sections for rape and criminal intimidation, and POCSO Act, though the victim is over 18. No CCTV footage was available on the floor, but forensic teams are examining digital and physical evidence.
