A 35-year-old TV producer’s late-night drive from Noida Sector 129 office to her Vasant Kunj home turned horrifying. Two men on a scooter started tailing her after she overtook them.
They repeatedly tried to block her path and signalled to stop. She ignored them, but the chase intensified. At a traffic stop, the pillion rider banged on the windscreen and attempted to open the door. Near DND, he pulled out a stick and shattered the rear windscreen.
Terrified, she called a colleague who urged her to Keep driving and not to stop . Once she reached Ashram Flyover near Lajpat Nagar, sought help from taxi drivers, and dialled the Police Control Room.
Lajpat Nagar police arrived quickly and secured her. Teams scanned CCTV footage from the route, tracing the accused within hours. Identified as Shubham and Deepak , both were previously booked under Arms Act at Dabri station this year. They are under interrogation; links to other incidents are being probed.
