A15-year-old Class 7 student from a private school in Sarojininagar was lured via Instagram and subjected to two days of gang-rape at a hotel.
The ordeal began on November 2 evening and ended only when her captors released her on Tuesday afternoon. Accused named Vimal befriended the girl on Instagram , following up with phone chats to build trust. Around 10 PM on November 2, he coaxed her out of her home under a pretext, picking her up in a Scorpio car with two friends, Piyush and Shubham Mishra. They took her to a hotel on IIM Road in Madiyaon, locked her in a room, seized her phone, and repeatedly assaulted her over 48 hours. Bite marks marred her body, and they threatened to leak videos of the abuse if she told anyone. The girl’s father, a daily wage laborer in Banthara, learned the horror when she returned home distraught and confided in her mother.
Acting on the mother’s complaint, Sarojininagar police detained Piyush and Shubham Mishra for interrogation. Vimal is still absconding. The victim is slated for medical tests, with charges under POCSO Act and IPC sections forthcoming. ACP Krishna Nagar Rajnish Verma confirmed the probe, emphasizing evidence-based action.
