The letter alleged that the groom had concealed critical information, including his actual age and several pending criminal cases against him, which were not disclosed to the bride or her family. Shocked by these revelations, Sushma confronted the groom’s family but received vague responses, leaving her unable to trust the groom and unsure about continuing the ceremony.
Despite the chaos at the venue and the presence of family members and local officials, Sushma remained firm in her decision not to proceed with the marriage, as it broke the trust and transparency that should exist before tying the knot. A police case has been registered, and the investigation into the matter is currently ongoing.
