Guwahati: A harassment incident in Gandhibasti has raised concerns about women’s safety. @junmonii_ii shared she was stalked by a man who had earlier approached her building suspiciously.
When he followed her to a nearby shop, she raised an alarm, and locals helped catch him and take him to the police station. His family claimed he is mentally ill and has a history of such behavior.
The woman also said that police blamed her clothing instead of addressing her complaint. She is safe now, but the incident has left her shaken and sparked concern in the area.
