A lavish wedding held at Royal Ambience Farm House in Ghaziabad’s Indirapuram has sparked massive discussion over the dowry exchanged during the ceremony.
Both the bride and groom’s families are residents of Delhi’s Khajuri Khas area. The wedding took place on May 9.
The bride’s family gifted ₹1 crore 11 lakh 11 thousand in cash, a BMW car, 11 diamond jewellery sets, 42 gold ornaments, and 18 silver items to the groom’s side. Also during the engagement ceremony held around six months earlier, the groom’s family received a Mahindra Thar SUV and ₹31 lakh in cash, while a Scorpio SUV was gifted to the middleman who arranged the marriage.
