Two sisters visiting Shastri Park in Guna, Madhya Pradesh, on Friday night around 9 PM were harassed by a man inside the park. After an argument, the women chased him out onto the road, caught hold of him, threw him to the ground, and beat him with sticks.
Locals reported that alcoholics and drug addicts frequently roam around the park, creating serious safety concerns especially for women visitors. They stated that the sisters beat the man to punish him for his harassment.
Police have registered a case and begun an investigation after the video of the incident went viral. The episode has once again sparked questions about safety and security measures at Shastri Park.
