The Bus Driver We Need on Every Bus:
A woman passenger was inappropriately touched by a man on a BMTC bus traveling along the Bengaluru Outer Ring Road. When she raised an alarm, bus driver Praveen quickly jumped to action. He stopped the bus, locked the doors, and physically confronted the man.
The molester spat on the driver, and created a scene. The bus had to move due to traffic allowing the accused to escape when the doors were opened.
The same man had been thrown off the bus earlier that morning for misbehaving with another woman passenger. He described the suspect as a habitual offender who targets women in relatively empty buses. No police action or arrest has been reported so far.
