In Guna, MP, a group of men attempted to SA a 26-year-old woman after tricking her and her engineer fiancé. The couple was returning on a bike from a temple at night when the accused stopped them with a fake bike puncture story. They took the keys and dragged the couple into a nearby jungle.
Once in the jungle, the men beat the couple badly with sticks and hands. They stole the man’s mobile phone and purse. The group then tried to sexually assault the woman. She fought back bravely by scratching the attackers, but they tore her clothes, tied her hands, and hurt her.
A passerby heard the woman’s cries and called 112 for help. Police reached the spot quickly. The attackers fled, but five men have been arrested. The arrested are Bablu (23), Chhotu (28), Sardar (30), Mahendra (20), and Dinesh (28). Two others are still on the run. Medical reports confirm the attempt to rape.
