In Samastipur, Bihar, a man was married against his will in what is being described as a pakadwa vivah.
In the video, the man can be heard objecting to the marriage and saying that he was wronged. People around him tell him that now that he is married, there is nothing he can do.
This is not feminism. This is patriarchy—the same system that has long treated women’s consent as secondary can also deny men the right to choose whom they marry.
