In a case that echoes of Ketan Agarwal murder case Madhu, 22, went missing from home soon after her marriage to Ankit. After 3 days she was found murdered inside the bathroom of a rented room in Haryana’s Manesar. The room belonged to her husband’s live-in partner.
Rajasthan’s Alwar: Madhu went missing on May 21. Ankit and his family falsely claimed she had run away with jewellery before he himself disappeared.
During the investigation, neighbours told police they had seen Madhu leaving on a scooter with Ankit on the day she went missing.
Police later traced a rented room where Ankit had been living with another woman named Rajni before and after the marriage. Madhu’s body was recovered from the same locked room, while Ankit and his live-in partner Rajni remain absconding. A murder case has been registered, and police teams are searching for both accused.
