19-year-old village YouTuber Vaishnavi, who had over 50,000 subscribers and around 91,000 Instagram followers, was m*rdered in March while four months pregnant. Her husband, 26-year-old Chittari Haribabu — named an accused in that case and out on bail — lost his life in a separate incident in Nizamabad on Thursday.
Haribabu was at a roadside eatery near Rajarajendra crossroads when an unidentified person approached and att*cked him. He sustained fatal injuries and d*ed at the scene. The assailant fled in a waiting vehicle.
Vaishnavi’s brother, Santhosh, later surfaced in a viral video claiming responsibility of m*rder of Haribabu to avenge his sister’s death. He has since surrendered to police. Authorities are investigating the matter further.
